Been Having Weird Tongue Issues . . . Started With

Been having weird tongue issues . . . started with a large canker sore and then a few smaller ones. Now tongue feels swollen (too large for my mouth, rubbing into teeth), and in past week, feel like I have a "pizza burn" all over tongue. Extremely uncomfortable. Also, my mouth tastes like I have blood in it, though I do not. Any thoughts on this weird combo of symptoms?
