Can Cholesterol Medication Cause Weak And Numb Arms And Legs With Lack Of Cordination?

I recently went on the lowest dose 5 mg of colestoral medicine. I was told not to exercise for a two week period on start up of the medication. It has been three weeks since I started the medicine. I m not on any other prescription, nor do I take over the counter medicines. I m not sure if the medicine causes the following symptons or not, or perhaps it s just a coiencidence. My arms are weak, my fingers don t seem to be very coodinated anymore. Finger tips at times are red, feel hot, itchy and sometimes numb (appear white in color) or tingle. My legs feel tired and not coordinated at times as well. I m 59 yrs old. Had no surgery s or any medical problems.
