Can Gas Cause Sharp Pain In The Chest?

Hi. I was driving home, and got a sharp pain across the whole chest area. I felt bloat, and gasping for a long thru out body breath. I came home, went to the bathroom, exercised for a bit, and it went away. The bathroom experience relieved a lot of gas and bloating. I am 42 year old male, had a heart stress test 7 months ago, with no issues. Can gas cause a sudden weird pain?
