I recently received a second round of test results that showed elevated Alkaline Phosphate, AST, and another liver level high. The second lab counts were lower that the first but still above the normal range. I am not a chronic drinker (some drinking after college, but none in the last 2 years), tests have confirmed I do not have hepatitis c. I do have tattoos if it matters. A recent CT scan indicated I have a small mass on my liver. The nurse prac originally said she thought it was a hemangioma and had orders an MRI w/wo contrast and new blood testing. Can a liver hemangioma cause elevated liver counts? If not, what are some possibilities?
