Could Hot Flushes In Chest Along With Difficulty In Breathing Be Due To Anxiety In Heart Patient?

My husband had angioplasty and inserted a stent in June 2013. He had it because of a torn blood vessel connecting to the heart. It was triggered by uphill biking. In June 2014, he started to experience the following very so often: hot flush-feeling in the chest, difficulty in breathing, acid reflux. We consulted with his cardio and a gastro. Everything is normal in the stomach. He was told not to drink water 2 hours before sleeping. He was given some meds too. Is this a case of developing anxiety problems? What is the connection of anxiety and a heart condition? If so, what should be done? Thank you. Here s hoping to find answers. Sincerely, Noreen L. Carada YYYY@YYYY
