Could Pain In Elbow Radiating To Ulna Be Due To Tendinitis?

My right elbow was operated on five years ago for tendinitis & arthritis. About a week ago, my left elbow was hurting. It felt like tendinitisw again. Then, three days later, I had pain in my elbow & it radiated down the ulna about seven inches. I now have elbow pain, that is at the elbow & the ulna pain, but it's not radiating. It's got about a 3" section between the elbow & the end of where the ulna pain stops. However, the pain is also on the inside of my forearm. It feels like my forearm is twisted & the skin is sensitive to light touch. I completed a dose pack of cortisone. I couldn't get a steroid injection at a walk-in clinic, because the P.A is not allowed to give joint injections. I have tried ice, an elbow brace, heat, a muscle rub, & my Oxycodone prescribed for my back & absolutely nothing works for my arm. I can't take Aspirin or NSAIDS due to gastric by-pass. I can't see my orthopedist until the 30th. Should I try to see my primary doctor or wait it out?
