Could Weight Loss Along With Yellow Skin Tone Be Due To Liver Disease?

Hi my father has had major weight loss, bleeding heavily, and soiling himself, and is also extremely yellow in skin colour. Has been a heavy drinker for several years, is this definitely his liver or could it be something else.also he is soiling himself 10-15 Times a day. As I have worked in the nhs I think I know the signs, do you think things are as sleek as I think they are. Would appreciate an honest answer thank you.
