Dear Doctor,
I was given a 48 hour holter monitor test. The Diagnostic Clinic who put the holtermonitor were not professional. On second day the monitor was showing one of he lead out. I wrote in my diary and sent the monitor back with the diary to the lab. The clinic;s cardiologist sent a one page report indicating intermittent Afib. I had to pursue the lab to send the strip from which the conclusion was made and told them are the results correct if the holtermonitor was showing one lead off. The reply was they will ignore that part when analyzing. However, I have a implanted pacemaker and defefab with one lead. I had my six monthly test of implants and sent the results to my cardiologist. He indicated that there were no episodes of AFib and there was misdiagnosis of by cardiologist who wrote the holtermonitor report. So, do I conclude I have no Afib. No additional prescription of drug was given and was asked by my cardiologist to be on 81 mgm Asprin. Please, comment, if there is no charge for the response.
