Dexter is a 5 year old male with that showed early symptoms of lactose intolerance as a baby and later was diagnosed with asthma. He struggled with eczema during this time as well, but his symptoms of eczema have subsided. He has managed well on two types of medication, Beclomethasone Dipropionate 100mcg/dose, and Salbutamol Sulphate 100mcg/dose to manage asthma symptoms and shorten the duration of upper respiratory infections. We have managed to regulate his intolerance to cows milk with lactose free products 12 months of age.
Until recently we have seen a new symptom appear as as a rash ofn his face, localized on his left cheek. It started with one sore that resembled a blemish, but it did not heal quickly. Soon after it closed over Dexter scratched of the surface ( itchy?)
