Does Abdominal Hysterectomy Has Less Complications Compared To Transvaginal Hysterectomy?

Hi if you have a patient who is about to undergo a transvaginal hysterectomy, anterior and posterior vaginal wall repair, a bladder lift using TVM, Knowing fully that all tvm surgeries should be considered high risk and that doing it abdominally has proven to have less post op complications, would you inform the patient of all the potential risks associated doing this type of repair and other surgical options, Even if at the time the mesh being used was not known to cause problems. And if the patient asked for the manufacturer and serial number of the mesh before going into surgery would you tell the patient they don't need it because it is on file and not known to cause problems.
