FOr Several Months, I Have Been Suffering From Almost Constant

FOr several months, I have been suffering from almost constant pain in the backs of my thighs and buttocks(both sides)(pain level 4 to 8) , with episodes of extreme pain . Often i get sharp spikes of pain in the center of my right buttocks which radiates down my leg to my foot (pain level 9). My pain is caused/exacerbated by sitting and is definitively better with walking. My MRI shows extreme degenerative spinal stenosis, etc., which resulted in two doctors recommending spinal surgery. The third neurologist said my symptoms were not consistent with those recommendations. He suggested a rheumatologist but has not yet recommended any specific doctor. My question is, I can't find any information on the web that explains my condition. The information on ankylosing spondylitis has some information, but it does not go far enough. Can yo send me some information which would explain my condition and what I should do to address it.
