For The Past Maybe Two Weeks Or So, The Top

For the past maybe two weeks or so, the top of my buttcrack has been very itchy. But only if it gets bothered do I then have to sit and scratch for several minutes until I feel better, I've noticed it's red now, not bleeding, and it looks like a general rash. But I have had dead skin flake off from the cream I applied the night before. I've tried applying different creams such as normal lotion, coconut oil, baby oil, or neosporin. Those seem to help at the time, but the next day I'm scratching again. Should I be using a regular anti itch cream or a calamine lotion? Or is something else going on?
