Good evening, my name is Yolanda and I have a quick question for you. First of all, I have Sjogren's Syndrome therefore I'm taking more pills than I anticipated before receiving a very long (approximately 3 to 4 years) anticipated diagnosis. That said, I have always been anemic, but this issue has worsened subsequent to taking meds to control the rheumatologic flare ups I have quite often. As of late, I've developed pica and crave the taste of white out. I'm not drinking white out, but I periodically put a little bit on my tongue for the taste then wipe it off with a napkin. Because this is extremely strange and unusual I haven't talked to any of my doctors although I am thinking about discussing this with my PCP and Rheumatologist. In the meantime, I would like to ask you if white out is ingested can it eventually cause cancer or simply poison me? I'm certain that I've swallowed some despite my efforts to clean my tongue. Any information you could provide would be great. Thank you for your time.
