HI, My doctor today said, "In conclusion, you have moderately extensive nonspecific periventricular and centrum semiovale white matter changes most consistent with nonspecific age-related ischemic changes. There is no enhancement." The physician, a neurologist, read to me from a print out from the results of an MRI with and without contrast. I'm confused. I tried to be specific, but......... does this mean I have hardening of the arteries? He did say "blood vessel changes," but that was the best I could get from him. Please explain the "conclusion" he gave me. thank you.
