Can the birth control MonoNessa cause heart burn? I recently had my gallbladder removed and have been experiencing heart burn on and off, however, over the past two months it has become increasingly worse and not responsive to Rolaids or other medications. The only thing I can think of is that I have been taking MonoNessa the past two months instead of the generic form- Sprintec, that I had been taking. When I am taking the placebo pills, I haven't noticed the heartburn as much.
