Hello Dr. Andrew, I'm 34 years old (female). I'm studying for my Post-grad degree in Australia, away from home (Pakistan). My long term memory is still pretty good. I remember a lot of things from my pre school days, but of late I can't focus on my academics. Whenever I try to study or even try to read anything non academic which requires me to decode and concentrate, I feel severe pressure on the top of my head and throbbing pain as if there's some pressure on my brain. My memory is getting bad too, especially my short term memory. I was diagnosed with a Bipolar Disorder as a child and during my low phases I have taken prescribed Lithium (Lamictal 50 mg twice a day) for a month and recovered. I'm alone here and I don't know what to do. I need a High Distinction in this semester in order to get accepted for a PhD program, but my current condition is affecting my grades.
Regards,
Rabia
