Hello! I Am A 60 Year Old Female, Who For

Hello! I am a 60 year old female, who for years fought against having neck surgery by having epidurals, some pain management as well. A friend told me I should go see a Rheumatologist as she said it sounded like fibromyalgia.....so I went to see this so called specialist who was supposed to be a top doctor in the field of fibro. He does an exam on me and ask a few questions. He then declares that I have a classic case of fibro. So he prescribes Lyrica, after I had been on Lyrica for about 2 1/2 years I finally got up the nerve to have neck surgery and when the pain was no longer decided the bad side effects I was having from the Lyrica was not worth staying on it. It has taken me 2 1/2 months to work off of the Lyrica...but during this time I have had a terrible time sleeping, probably haven't slept but 2 hours per night. Went to see my family doctor for help because I am so exhausted, he prescribed Lunesta 1mg as needed before bedtime. Once I took it I have been awake every since. Went to bed at 9:30 PM and is now 6:04 AM and am still wide awake. I tried Melatonin, it only geared me up resulting in no sleep. I feel like a tiny baby who has gotten it's days and nights mixed up. I don't want anything for long term just something to help for a few days to get my sleep pattern back on track. What should I do?
