Hello,
I have complete care of my 94 year old father in law. When I feed him (soup, yogurt, applesauce, oatmeal, etc) (anything that doesn't need to be chewed, since he has no teeth, he starts to cough rather violently with a very congested, "wet" sounding cough. He even does this with juice or water. Is this normal? He is sitting in a wheel chair when I feed him (as opposed to laying down). Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Nancy
