Hello I hope someone can help.
My son is 23 months a global development delay, Which the doctors could not find a cause for, so they did some basic genetic testing, which also came back clear, mostly what he struggled with was his motor skills, hes only just started walking, he has hypermobility and hypotonia and a few sensory problems.
Hes not long had an MRI scan of his brain which showed enlarged ventricles due to loss of overlying white matter, I dont know what this means...if anyone can explain I would be very grateful? Also what does this mean for him? His neurologist hasn't explained any of it except that its unusual as they would expect him to have stiff joints ect but hes the opposite.
Any help would be great thank you.
