Hello,
I received this on my X-ray report. I have constant pain in my back, pelvis, and hips. I also have had gastrointestinal problems, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, heartburn, and have been diagnosed with H. Pylori when returning from deployment and acid reflux disease. I also have nearly constant headaches. The certain medical facility I have gone to, seem to say all my pain and issues are "in my head" and do not ever help to where I have to go to another facility that is civilian and they have said I have a cyst on my back. These results have been the same for around 5 years, and I am just now seeing this (because my doctor always said my results were completely normal and nothing was wrong). Since I have seen these, and looking online, I am now concerned over what these findings say about the bone lesion. Should I get a second opinion at an oncologist to get more studies done? My current health facility (that will remain unnamed) will not order any other tests, and getting these x-rays done was like pulling teeth. Please help! What I am seeing online is very concerning. Thanks!
Pelvis and left hip: No acute osseous injury. Bilateral hips are
reduced with no significant degenerative changes. Bilateral
sacroiliac joints and pubic symphysis appear grossly
unremarkable. Circumscribed 1.1 cm sclerotic focus in the medial
right iliac wing suggestive of bone island.
