Hello, I'm 20 Years Old And My Menstrual Cycle Is

Hello, I'm 20 years old and my menstrual cycle is always 28 days and very regular. I was a week late for my period, and yesterday I began bleeding very very lightly and today I'm bleeding heavily. I took an at home test, it came back negative. I had the symptoms of pregnancy, nausea, sensitive to smell, back pain etc. Does this seem normal, or could it be a miscarriage?
