Hello.................. I'm Angela, middle age: 37 year old female. For the last two months, I have been in extreme crippling lower back pain rating at 8-10 pain scale in which, started one week before my cycle. First day of my menstrual cycle I began cramping intensely in my lower abdomen rating at 4-6 on a pain scale. I have applied back patches in addition to a microwavable clay pack to relieve any discomfort. Any daily activities that are routine for my family have seized due to my inability to walk, stand or just maintain a regular stamina. I have only been able to do minor activities in increments of 20-30 minutes before I have to either lay down or sit down. My third cycle which is the most current, The back pain and abdominal cramping started on the first day of my cycle with the same pain scales, applied interventions, and lack of mobility. I stopped bleeding about a week ago however, the back pain is still active. I have even applied ice and it is still there in full force. The initial pain location started from my lower back area of which an epideral would be inserted, and as any activity increased, or the more I try to push through the pain it radiates from all sides of the initial site and moves outward across my back causing it to feel extremely stiff and unable to move or bend other that sitting, or laying down. I am unfamiliar with back injuries or how to treat them. Based off of my explanation of symptoms could you give me some advice.
