Hello, I'm a 26 yr old woman trying to conceive for the past 6 months. Since we were anxious, we went to a gynaec who suggested a follicular study whose results showed that ovulation was not taking place but my cycles are regular.
She had also suggested a blood test including TSH and ESR. The report indicated that my TSH was 4.5 and ESR 69. So she said that I'm on the higher side of the optimal range for TSH and therefore prescribed Thyronorm 50. I had been taking this regularly for the past 1.5 months. Last week I checked my TSH again and it was 1.67.
My question is, am I hypothyroid(because the doc said I'm not necessarily having thyroid problem it's just that they need to maintain the range for pregnancy)?
Whether or not it's related to thyroid, why am I still unable to become pregnant, now that my TSH is normal and I even took CCQ(a form of clomid I guess) last month ?
Note: I underwent a surgery for cervical lymphadenopathy 6 months ago after taking TB tablets for 9 months eventually finding out I never had TB.
