Hello,
My Sister, 62 years of age has advanced lung cancer which the cancer has also spread to her liver. This was diagnosed last fall. She did about 4-6 sessions of chemo therapy, however because of low white cell blood count and other issues, eg, tumors not responding to the chemo, the decision was to stop treatment. That decision was made approx. one month ago. My sister is very weak, little or no appetite, and still losing weight, and also the tumors have grown. From your experience, how fast does a patient deteriorate and how much time could she have? I know this is a very difficult question to answer.
Thank-you,
Gerald Lodermeier
