Hello... My husband, a brilliant law prof and labor arbitrator, has had Parkinson's for 13 years, and is now, apparently, becoming emotionally labile. Today, he told me he's going to die before seeing our 27 year old son (our only child, whom he worships), who lives on the other coast, teaching, and finishing his master's in biblical studies. We will see him in May at his graduation.
My husband takes Requip XL 20 mg, Azilect, and Sinemet 25/100 in the a.m., and then every 3 hours thereafter, takes 1/2 of a Sinemet 50/200, and a Sinemet 25/100.
How should we proceed, pharmacologically so that he can continue to function?!?! (If you know)!!!
He loves his work, but i hate to see him getting depressed, apparently, and inappropriately... (He is in no immediate danger of dying, for example!). Thank you for any suggestions you may have to help him.....
