Hey There, I Am A 29 Year Old Male And

Hey there,

I am a 29 year old male and I have had skin-colored bumps around my genitals for a little over 10 years. I first noticed them before I was sexually active. They don't cause me and pain or discomfort. They can't be popped but they can be torn with enough force (this causes a fair amount of bleeding). They all are generally in the place as they always have been, they don't go and come back, they are always there. I finally visted a physician today and brought these up to him. After taking a quick look at them he said that they look like genital warts to him, but since I have had them since before I was sexually active he calls them skin tags. Upon reading up on Genital warts they fit the description almost to a T, the main difference is that mine have been there for so long, they don't go away and come back but other than that they look remarkably like genital warts. Could it be that the doctor is correct and they are skin tags? Should I seek a second opinion and be fully tested for STIs? I am worried that they are genital warts and I may spread them to my girlfriend (we have been together for 3 years and have unprotected sex, but she has never shown any sign of getting them).
