Hi - I'm A 59 Y/o Female. I Was In

Hi -

I'm a 59 y/o female. I was in an auto accident about 1 1/2 yrs ago, hit on the driver's side. Since then I have had a very sore neck on my left side. When I lean it to the right, it pulls and hurts. When I lean towards the front and slightly to the right, it pulls all the way down my back on the left side. When I move my left arm around, I also get some of the same pain in my neck and down my back. I've had a little bit of physical therapy and most recently have been seeing a chiropractor, which they have said I had a sprain in my neck, and all of the "adjustments" have helped some. But due to my work situation, I have stopped going. My neck doesn't even feel like any progress has been made and I'm in a lot of pain when I move. Advil seems to take some of the edge off, but I don't want to be taking Advil forever.
I'm thinking I need to go back to my regular Dr and get more xrays?
thanks,
Connie
