Hi - I've had constant headaches for 3 months. I have pain on all sides of my head, but especially bad in the back. I get pain when I turn my head in any direction. A neurologist gave me nerve blocks on both sides of the back of my head. This got rid of the pain in the back of my head, but the pain was still very significant on the top and sides and of my head. My doctor (an intern) claimed that since the pain went away on the back of my head, that my headache problem was due to the occipital nerves. But if that was case, wouldn't the pain in the rest of my head, also go away? He gave me oral prednisone, but that didn't help at all. So I wonder if his diagnosis is correct. (As an aside, I have fibromyalgia, and a doctor several years ago, believed that I had small fiber neuropathy. Could this be a factor in my headache pain?) Thanks very much. - Mark
