Hi! Became 100% Deaf In Right Ear, For No Apparent

Hi! Became 100% deaf in right ear, for no apparent reason. Was on preventive Cipro and Torodol due to possible second branch facial nerve pain, erratically, close nose, right side. E.N.T. Could not isolate the random facial pain. Presented every 3 or 4 weeks. Just a pin head size, but dibilitating pain, with any minor movement. After 8 months of said pain, took a shower, was deaf in right ear. Surprisingly, facial pain stopped. Now, I would like to know if any progress has been made in "one ear deafness?"
