Hi Doc-
I am 52--I have had endometriosis in my late 30,s and was treated for 6 mos w/lupron shots--at about the same time, I had adnomous colon polyp approx 4 cm removed w/colonoscopy---all was clear in colon for 5 yrs w/follow up--and I took bc pills till I was 51--since I went off pills, I've had nothing but trouble--but know, I am 2 yrs. overdue for colon screening--and my periods are highly irregular now-- I lose my periods for up to 3 mos then they come back terrible--then they stay that way for awhile on a "normal" cycle and then return worse than before--even when I had endometriosis, the pain & bleeding are a lot worse now than then--and the pain is more specific in my left side and colon--(also I had a left side ovarian cyst and torsion of the left ovary back in the day...). I've mentioned my weird stuff to my Drs but all seem to think it's just menopause. I worry that it's not. Appreciate any advice you can give...
