Hi. How Will An OB Know If You Had A

Hi. How will an OB know if you had a miscarriage or a medical abortion? Because here in us, abortion is prohibited however I need to have a check-up with an OB as per advise of my boss. Will the OB know that I really had an abortion even if I'll say I do have a miscarriage?
