Hi. I am 39 years old with 3 young children (6,3, and 2 years old). I have been a "stay-at-home" parent for the past 4 1/2 years. I am tired ALL the time, literally, constant fatigue. I always chalked it up to the fact that the kids suck all my energy out, but I feel like there must be more to it than just that (although that is definitely a factor!) because I was tired before all the kids too (although maybe not quite as much). I am 5 feet 4 inches and weigh 105 pounds. I also have difficulty concentrating (which started when I first got pregnant and has continued until now). I am thinking anemia, thyroid, depression, anxiety, ADD, or I don't know what. I had my blood tested for anemia in my twenties and it came up negative. I don't trust the competency of labs, doctors, or office staff due to past experiences of them mixing my information up. I hate going to the doctor's because I never get any answers, they rush me and treat me like a number, and I spend a lot of money and waste a lot of time for nothing. Before I go and give it another try, I was hoping to get some insight from here first. Can you please help me try to figure this out? Thank you.
