Hi, I Am A 39 Years Old Female. Since May

Hi,
I am a 39 years old female. Since May this year, I am having problems in my menstrual cycle. My cycle has always been 26-28 days. But after 14th April, I did not get periods, went to doc in June. She asked me to Meprate for 5 days. Pregranancy test was negative. After Meprate, periods came in June 22nd. She had my blood tests ncluding hormones and ultrasound. Everything was fine except estrogen level was high and there was a small functional cyst in left oveary. I was advised a healthy lifestyle and diet and that's it. I have been doing exercise, yoga, healthy diet etc but again now, I am not getting periods on time.
Can I take Meprate again? Is it a common thing for doctors to prescribe Meprate month after month?
