Hi, I am a 46 year old Caucasian woman and I have suffered from vertigo, balance issues, anxiety, and nausea since I was about 6 years old. This happens daily, mostly outdoors (although I have bouts indoors too) and I need assistance walking across a parking lot, in a store, crossing a street anywhere that is too wide-open. For this reason many doctors assumed I suffer from Agoraphobia. However, that does not explain why it occurs in the safety of my own home. The odd thing is that when I use a shopping cart, push my grandson in the stroller, etc as long as I have proper help with my balance, I am able to walk across open areas with no problem. I have fainted on a few occasions, maybe 4 times that I can recall. A bad vertigo attack always ends with a major case of yawning. Any ideas as to what this sounds like? Thanks for reading.
