Hi, I Am A 53 Year Old Woman Who Has

Hi, I am a 53 year old woman who has not yet gone through menopause. I have had regular periods until this month when the flow was exceptionally heavy and lasted several days longer than usual. Now, 2 weeks after the last day of my cycle, I am having break through bleeding which appears to have tissue floating in it. Is this something to be concerned about or just the process of periomenopause?
