Hi, I am on my 5th day post gallbladder removal surgery. I have been on fluids for the first 3 days, I started whole grain and more consistent foods on my forth day: toast with little to no butter and jam, pudding, crackers, cooked spinach and onion pockets. Everything is going well, I have had BM 3 times, first time was diarrhea-like, second time was good and third time was soft. I have had twice the feeling of abdominal pain, both times at night. I find when I sit up the pain goes away, is there a reason for that, is it related to digestion? I would like to know what new foods I can start for the end of my first week. Is Goat cheese okay? What kinds of meat? What kind of vegetables? Can I have garden salads with Italian dressing?
