Hi, I Fell At Work And Landed On The Palm

Hi, I fell at work and landed on the palm of my left hand. I have shooting pain going through my arm up to my shoulder. My fingers and numb, and very painful. My fingers, hand, wrist and arm are stiff as well. They are sensitive to touch, and weak. What could I have done?
