Hi I Have A Cold, And Had A Shower About

Hi I have a cold, and had a shower about an hour ago, thought it would be a good idea to use a cotton bud to clean my ears, went too far with the right one and now it's blocked and I have an earache. The ear drum isn't perforated I'm pretty sure, but still painful, have tried taking a big breath while holding my nose and blowing, as well as yawning/chewing motions, nothing seems to be helping. I also have a series of flights starting on friday, what can I do? Will this be a problem?
