Hi. I Have Had MDS For Many Years, But Now,

Hi. I have had MDS for many years, but now, even with compression socks, I am having some swelling in my ankles. I have seen my blood specialist for almost 30 years, and am just now needing to have blood transfusions every 6-8 weeks. The swelling is mostly when I'm needing blood. Can you give me any advice about this "problem" and slight numbness in my hands and arms, and some lightheadedness (when my blood gets lower than my usual)?
