Hi,
I just had a hysterectomy with tubes, ovaries, and cervix out as well. Because of a long past surgery to get rid of two ovarian cysts ( one 11 pounds, the other 22 pounds) my ovaries were well into the uterine wall. My Dr. could get one out but was unable to get the other. Does that action put me at risk for ovarian cancer or will what was left of the ovary be absorbed? Should I be worried?
