Hi, I Want To Take Althea Pill Instead Of Yaz

Hi, I want to take althea pill instead of Yaz pill due to some review I read that althea is much more better that Yaz, but my OB told me to use Yaz for not gaining weight. although, I dont have any problem on my menstruation cycle, I have lots of acne that bothers me, I never been in this situation and it just started last year December and a lot of remedies I tried just to cure my acne but non of them give good result for my skin.
Can I take althea pill just to cure my acne?
