Hi, I Was Removing My Tennis Shoe...in A Hurry Unfortunately...and

Hi, I was removing my tennis shoe...in a hurry unfortunately...and without unlacing I used my opposite foot to remove from my heel of the shoe. It seems silly given I really was not doing any specific sport or excercise when it happened. However, As I proceeded to do so I heard a pop at the base of my glute where it meets the top of my leg. I have sense been experiencing some discomfort and pain in my medial glute and around the IT band area and running behind the thigh, knee. Also, the tendon running from the area that made a pop is tender. I'm rolling and taking Tylenol, icing. Without a physical examination I am wondering if it may be a hamstring issue vs IT band. I have a scheduled appt next Monday if problems persist however could you offer any advise possibly? Thanks so much.
