Hi. I would like to lose weight. I have an underactive thyroid and take Eltroxin for this. I use to eat anything I wanted as much as I wanted and not put on one pound of weight throughout most of my life and was usually 8 and a half stone. Once I started our family I weighed 9 stone and was sometimes 2 pounds under that. However now in my mid 40's, I am 10 stone and increasing, I am feeling very uncomfortable in my clothes and I would like to lose a stone in weight. I can eat very healthily but I will also eat biscuits / lots of treats etc. both to sooth myself when upset and to reward myself on a good day ! and find my worst time is 8pm at night ! I know I need to keep moving, I have a treadmill which I am not using right now, but I was before Christmas. Its keeping up the good habits continuously, beyond week 2 that I find hard as I feel I am getting nowhere as I am not losing any weight. We have a puppy, Golden retriever so I am getting out and about with our children for walks. I would appreciate any tips / advice you might have to achieve my goal.
