Hi, I'm 25 year old female. From past 1 month I've got this farting problem, before that it used to be very natural and insignificant. Now approximately I'm farting 15 times a day and they are loud and even smelly, it is very embarrassing for me to be around people. I've read that few food items causes farting. I stay at hostel and for holidays I came home for this 1 month. I notice there is a change in food. I have breakfast around 10 a.m and I'll eat any rice item like pulihora, vangi bath, lemon rice etc. For lunch I'll again eat the samething that I eat morning or sometimes I'll have plain rice curry and dal etc. In night I'll eat multigrains flour chapati and some curry. I eat all the vegetables and farting is same on all days. And also the all rice items and curries contain jeera, mustard seeds and ginger. In the night after eating chapati, I'll just sit infront of tv and then sleep. I'll drink approximately 2 to 2.5 litres of water per day. I don't smoke, drink and chew the gum. Please help me to overcome this excessive farting.
