Hi, I'm Suffering From A Cold, With Sore Throat Only

Hi, I'm suffering from a cold, with sore throat only when I talk not swallow also coughing up phlem streaked with blood, have had this sore throat for 8days,no fever. Was wondering if my 4month old breast fed baby can catch my sore throat? He is already showing all other cold symptoms, runny nose and cough.
