Hi, In the last 2+ years I have had recurring symptoms including overall weakness, sudden spikes in blood pressure, feeling that my body is shutting down. I have gone to several specialists including Ear/nose/throat, neurologist, urologist, cardiologist, nephrologist, RA etc.. My blood tests are normal, however, I am now on Trandate for bp, synthroid for hypo thyroid and yesterday was prescribed 7 days for prednisone (since my lymph nodes are enlarged in my throat area and I have severe dryness in the eye area and my adenoids appear to be affected (enlarged).
Since Saturday (6 days) I have had tightness in the next area, enlarged lymph nodes, chills, headaches, overall weakness, night sweats, heaviness breathing, stomach gurgling, pain in my lower back. SInce all my tests came back negative, the consensus was that it must be anxiety. However, I know that something is wrong. The pain since Saturday is more pronounced and I am concerned that I may have Lymphoma. I am scheduled to see an Endocrinologist and another ENT for a second opinion. I am waiting for an MRI of my neck and throat area (recently suggested by the ENT). Scared that the last 2 years I have been overlooked since doctors felt I have anxiety which was really fear that something was wring. I know in my gut something is wrong :(
