Hi. Please help. In the last couple of months, I've developed a nail fungus on one of my fingernails, and in spite of regular use of over the counter antifungals (topical), the condition is worsening. Now, it is becoming painful. What can I do? I have no health insurance, and while I know that prescribed oral antifungals are best, I cannot afford the medication. My doctor told me it's like a two to three months course of medicine that has to be taken, and the medication averages about $20.00 per pill. Any suggestions?
