Hi. Since You Offered: My Wife Is 65 And In

Hi. Since you offered: My wife is 65 and in last month she's experienced a "grittiness" in her throat that gets aggravated off and on, like when she eats nuts. It's not a sore throat, and she can swallow fine, but she's never had this. She thinks maybe it's an allergy, and has been coughing for a month, which might be related. I worry it could be worse (because that's my way) and suggest she see a doctor. Thanks for any impressions. Jim
