Hi, Im 23 Yrs, 6ft, 78-80kg With Mild Asthma And

Hi, im 23 yrs, 6ft, 78-80kg with mild asthma and also usually prone to chest infections. I'm not a heavy smoker but i was smoking almost everyday and i did used to smoke shisha for a year or 2, also i was smoking weed regularly for a year until this week. On Monday throughout the day i was drinking lean, where i mixed half a bottle codeine linctus and a bottle of phenergan promethazine 80ml. I've done this before and not had an issue with it but that monday night I had smoked one roll up of weed amongst friends and 15 mins later I felt dizzy and my heart started to beat faster than it ever has before, I could stand and move but my heart felt like it was coming out of my chest with palpitations and felt irregular and the HR when i counted exceeded 150+ even tho i had been sitting the whole time. This fast beating lasted from 1am - 6am and when i did go to the hospital my BP was still around 99 and the ECG showed normal and so did BP by the time it calmed down. The next night i was resting at home and i ended up going to a shisha cafe and as soon as I took a couple drags my heart started beating fast again, that's the first time its been that fast even tho i've smoked shisha many times. This subsided quicker within 30 mins and at the hospital the tests came back normal. A couple days later i took two pulls of a cigarette from my friend to see if there was still an issue, and my heart started racing almost 20 seconds later and stayed racing for half an hour. I went to the hospital because I didn't know what this was and after BP and ECG came back normal looking he suggested a blood test because throughout the week i was still getting pains on the left side of my chest between the ribs and it seemed my usual wheeze felt worse. He checked the blood test for any issuies with the heart and said everything came back good and that I didn't have any heart issuies and hadn't had a heart attack. I asked what the pain in my chest was and he said it could be muscular skeletal or something along them lines, maybe from the way my heart was pounding. He said to take a rest from smoking anything for at least a couple weeks. I wanted to know when I should be able to resume exercise? I also wanted to know your opinion on the event and the pain in my chest? Also i wanted to know if my heart will continue to race like this every time I touch a cigerette or go shisha because that doesn't seem normal as I'd never experienced that before this week and now its very consistant? Will it still happen if i dont smoke for weeks and tried it again and is it the same for weed? I've tried to give as much information as possible but beforehand I was always a good runner, footballer even with the mild asthma and could handle playing for hours so i assume my heart has always been healthy, if you could get back to me?
