Hi Just Found Out Today I Have A Large Asymmetrical

Hi just found out today I have a large asymmetrical left sided disc protrusion at the lumbeosacral junction, I have no pain in my back but from my upper thigh to foot I have numbness and tingling and stabbing pains in my thigh. I have been flat on my back for 4 days in excuitating pain. I'm a single mum with my own hairdressing business that I run by myself. So I need to get back to it asap. What's the best think I can do for myself now? Is it to early to start stretching? Doctor has suggested epidural If no better by Wednesday. I have always had lower back issues, and did do something extremely painful about 6 weeks ago, which I was seeing a chiro every week for a month, when it wasn't doing much, I decided to have a few massages which helped.
Very desperate.
Thanks karina
